Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive financial investigations into potential fraud, asset misappropriation, and financial misconduct. Analyze complex financial records, including accounting ledgers, bank statements, and transaction histories. Identify and trace the flow of funds, documenting all findings meticulously. Assist in litigation support by preparing detailed reports, summaries, and exhibits for legal proceedings. Quantify financial damages and losses resulting from fraudulent activities. Interview witnesses, subjects, and other parties involved in financial investigations. Develop and implement fraud prevention strategies and internal control recommendations. Stay current with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards related to forensic accounting and fraud examination. Prepare expert witness reports and provide testimony in court or other legal forums. Collaborate with legal counsel, law enforcement agencies, and other stakeholders. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFE, CPA) are highly preferred. Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in accounting, auditing, or financial investigations, with a significant focus on forensic accounting. In-depth knowledge of fraud schemes, investigative techniques, and legal frameworks. Proficiency in data analysis tools and accounting software. Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings clearly and concisely.
