The Senior Editor will be instrumental in shaping narratives and delivering compelling video content across various platforms, from feature films and documentaries to commercial projects and digital media.

Responsibilities: Edit raw footage into polished, engaging video content according to project briefs and creative direction. Collaborate closely with directors, producers, and other creative team members to achieve the desired artistic vision. Select and assemble the most appropriate shots, sequences, and sound to tell a cohesive story. Incorporate graphics, special effects, music, and sound effects to enhance the final product. Perform color correction and sound mixing to ensure high-quality output. Manage and organize media assets, ensuring efficient workflow and data integrity. Adhere to project deadlines and deliver high-quality edits within specified timelines. Stay up-to-date with the latest editing techniques, software advancements, and industry trends. Provide creative input and solutions to enhance storytelling and visual impact. Ensure final video output meets technical specifications for various distribution platforms. Mentor junior editors and provide constructive feedback. Troubleshoot technical issues related to editing software and hardware. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Media Arts, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Minimum of 7 years of professional experience as a film and video editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects. Proficiency in professional non-linear editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer. Strong knowledge of motion graphics software (e.g., Adobe After Effects) and color grading tools (e.g., DaVinci Resolve). Excellent understanding of narrative structure, pacing, and visual storytelling. Proficiency in sound design and mixing techniques. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
