Senior Curriculum Developer

Our client is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Senior Curriculum Developer to join their innovative education team. This role is based in **Baltimore, Maryland, US**, and requires your presence in the office to foster collaboration and hands-on development. As a Senior Curriculum Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing engaging and effective educational programs and materials for a variety of learning contexts. You will work closely with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and educators to translate learning objectives into compelling curricula that meet the needs of diverse learners. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that educational content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with best pedagogical practices and relevant standards.

Key responsibilities include conducting needs assessments to identify learning gaps and opportunities, designing instructional strategies and learning activities, developing course content, assessments, and supplementary materials, and evaluating the effectiveness of curricula through feedback and performance data. You will also be involved in piloting new programs, providing training and support to instructors, and staying abreast of emerging trends and technologies in education and instructional design. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in educational theory, instructional design principles, and curriculum development methodologies. Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills are essential, as is a proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Experience with various learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools is highly desirable. A Master's degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field is preferred.
