Our client, a leading insurance provider, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Claims Adjuster to join their dynamic team in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, IN . This role is critical to ensuring efficient and fair claims processing, protecting the company's assets while providing excellent service to policyholders. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of insurance policies, claims investigation procedures, and a strong commitment to accuracy and integrity. You will be responsible for managing a caseload of complex claims, conducting thorough investigations, and negotiating settlements within established guidelines.

Key responsibilities include investigating, evaluating, and settling property and casualty insurance claims in accordance with policy provisions and company standards. You will conduct detailed on-site inspections, gather evidence, interview claimants and witnesses, and assess damages. Developing comprehensive claims reports, documenting findings, and recommending appropriate courses of action will be a core part of your role. Negotiating settlements with policyholders and their representatives, ensuring fair and equitable outcomes, is essential. You will also be responsible for managing subrogation and salvage processes where applicable. Staying updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices is crucial. Providing guidance and support to junior claims adjusters may also be part of your responsibilities.

The successful applicant will have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. A minimum of 5 years of experience in claims adjusting, with a focus on property and casualty insurance, is required. Possess a strong understanding of insurance principles, policy interpretation, and claims handling procedures. Excellent investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential. Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal, are vital for interacting with diverse stakeholders. Proficiency in claims management software is expected.
