You will be responsible for investigating, evaluating, and settling complex property insurance claims, ensuring fairness and efficiency for both the policyholder and the company. Key Responsibilities:

Investigate and assess property damage claims resulting from various causes (e.g., fire, water, storm, theft). Review insurance policies to determine coverage and liability. Conduct thorough site inspections and document damages with detailed reports, photographs, and estimates. Calculate claim settlements based on policy terms, damage assessments, and repair cost estimates. Negotiate settlements with policyholders, contractors, and legal representatives. Manage a caseload of complex claims from initial contact through to final settlement. Ensure timely and accurate processing of all claim-related documentation. Adhere to all relevant insurance regulations and company policies. Provide clear and empathetic communication to policyholders throughout the claims process. Identify potential fraudulent claims and escalate as necessary. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including legal counsel and repair specialists. Stay updated on building codes, construction methods, and repair costs relevant to property claims. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Claims Adjuster, with a strong focus on property claims. Valid insurance adjuster license as required by local regulations. In-depth knowledge of various insurance policies (homeowners, commercial property). Proven experience in damage assessment, estimation, and negotiation. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Proficiency in claims management software and standard office applications. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle pressure. Knowledge of construction processes and building materials is essential. Experience with litigation management is a plus.
