Our client, a leading insurance provider, is actively seeking an experienced Senior Claims Adjuster to manage complex property and casualty claims in the Bhopal area. This role requires a deep understanding of insurance policies, claims investigation procedures, and settlement negotiations. You will be responsible for thoroughly investigating assigned claims, determining coverage, estimating damages, and facilitating fair and timely settlements for policyholders. Responsibilities: Investigate, evaluate, and manage a caseload of complex property and casualty insurance claims from inception to closure. Conduct thorough damage assessments, gather evidence, and interview claimants, witnesses, and other relevant parties. Interpret policy language to determine coverage and liability. Negotiate settlements with policyholders, attorneys, and other stakeholders in a fair and efficient manner. Prepare detailed claim reports, documentation, and correspondence. Coordinate with external vendors, such as contractors and appraisers, to obtain estimates and ensure quality of repairs. Maintain accurate and up-to-date claim files in the company's claims management system. Ensure compliance with all state regulations and company guidelines. Provide excellent customer service throughout the claims process, demonstrating empathy and professionalism. Identify potential subrogation or salvage opportunities. Stay informed about changes in insurance laws, regulations, and industry best practices. Mentor junior adjusters and assist with their development and training. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Claims Adjuster, with a focus on property and casualty lines. In-depth knowledge of insurance policies, claims investigation techniques, and legal principles. Proven ability to negotiate and settle claims effectively. Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly. Proficiency in claims management software. Relevant adjuster licenses required. Bachelor's degree in a related field is highly desirable. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a demanding environment. High level of integrity and ethical conduct.
