Our client, a reputable insurance provider, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Claims Adjuster to manage complex insurance claims in Indore, Madhya Pradesh . This role requires a deep understanding of insurance policies, claims investigation, liability assessment, and negotiation. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical skills, strong communication abilities, and a proven track record of fair and efficient claims resolution. You will be responsible for handling a portfolio of claims from initial report to final settlement, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Investigate, evaluate, and negotiate a variety of complex insurance claims, including property, casualty, and liability. Determine coverage based on policy terms and conditions, and assess the extent of liability. Conduct thorough investigations, including interviewing claimants, witnesses, and other relevant parties, and gathering necessary documentation. Appoint and manage independent adjusters, appraisers, and other service providers as needed. Prepare detailed reports outlining claim findings, recommendations, and settlement proposals. Negotiate settlements with claimants, legal representatives, and other involved parties in a fair and efficient manner. Ensure all claims handling activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company procedures. Maintain accurate and up-to-date claim files and documentation in the claims management system. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior claims adjusters. Identify potential fraud indicators and escalate for further investigation. Represent the company in claim-related disputes or litigation when necessary.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related field. Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Claims Adjuster, with significant experience in handling complex claims. In-depth knowledge of insurance policies, claims procedures, and relevant legal frameworks. Strong negotiation and conflict-resolution skills. Excellent analytical, investigative, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in claims management software and standard office applications. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively. Relevant professional certifications (e.g., from IRDAI) are highly desirable.
