Role Overview:

You will be a highly experienced Principal Industrial Engineer responsible for driving significant improvements in manufacturing processes, efficiency, and overall productivity. Your role will involve designing, implementing, and optimizing complex production systems using advanced industrial engineering principles and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, analysis, and optimization of manufacturing processes, workflows, and layouts.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
• Utilize lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
• Conduct time and motion studies, capacity planning, and resource allocation analysis.
• Design and implement effective production control systems and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and R&D, to achieve operational goals.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing processes.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and equipment to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
• Train and mentor junior engineers and production staff on best practices.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards within the manufacturing environment.
• Manage multiple complex projects from conception to completion, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Analyze production data to identify trends and implement data-driven solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in industrial engineering within a manufacturing setting.
• Demonstrated expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred), and other process improvement methodologies.
• Strong proficiency with simulation software, CAD tools, and data analysis software.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing operations, production planning, and quality control.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Proven leadership and project management capabilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
