Licensed Massage Therapist - Spa Specialist

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Massage Therapist to join their prestigious spa located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha . As a key member of the wellness team, you will provide a wide range of therapeutic massage services to clients, helping them achieve relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. This role requires a deep understanding of anatomy, physiology, and various massage modalities.

Responsibilities: Perform various types of therapeutic massages, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and aromatherapy, based on client needs and preferences. Conduct thorough client consultations to assess their physical condition, health history, and specific concerns. Develop and recommend personalized treatment plans for clients, explaining the benefits of different techniques. Maintain client records, documenting treatment plans, progress, and any observations. Ensure a high level of hygiene and sanitation in treatment rooms and throughout the spa. Adhere to all professional and ethical standards of practice. Educate clients on self-care, stretching, and other techniques to enhance their well-being between sessions. Promote spa services and retail products to clients. Collaborate with other spa professionals to ensure a cohesive client experience. Manage appointment schedules efficiently and maintain punctuality. Qualifications: Valid massage therapy license in the state of Odisha. Certification from an accredited massage therapy program. Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a licensed massage therapist. Proficiency in a variety of massage techniques and modalities. Excellent knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients. Empathetic and patient demeanor, with a genuine passion for helping others. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Knowledge of spa etiquette and customer service best practices. Physical stamina to perform massages for extended periods.
