Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Lead Insurance Claims Adjuster to manage and oversee the claims process in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, IN . This pivotal role involves assessing insurance claims, determining coverage, negotiating settlements, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. The successful candidate will lead a team of adjusters, providing guidance, training, and performance management. You will be responsible for handling complex claims that require in-depth investigation and analysis, working closely with policyholders, legal counsel, and other stakeholders to achieve fair and efficient resolutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Investigate insurance claims to determine liability and coverage in accordance with policy terms. Evaluate damages and calculate settlement amounts based on findings. Negotiate settlements with policyholders, legal representatives, and other involved parties. Manage a caseload of complex claims, ensuring timely and accurate processing. Conduct thorough investigations, including site inspections, witness interviews, and review of documentation. Provide expert guidance and support to a team of claims adjusters. Train new team members on claims handling procedures and best practices. Monitor team performance and provide feedback for improvement. Ensure adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. Prepare detailed reports on claim investigations and resolutions. Collaborate with underwriters, legal departments, and other internal teams. Identify potential fraud indicators and report them for further investigation. Maintain accurate and up-to-date claim files in the system. Contribute to the development of claims handling strategies and process improvements.

Required Qualifications:

Proven experience as an Insurance Claims Adjuster, with a minimum of 5 years in a lead or supervisory role. In-depth knowledge of insurance policies, claims investigation techniques, and settlement negotiation. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities. Proficiency in claims management software and standard office applications. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Law, or a related field. Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPCU) are highly desirable. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
