HVAC Maintenance Supervisor

Our client is a leading facilities management company seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Maintenance Supervisor for their operations in Bhopal. This role requires an on-site presence to oversee the maintenance and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across multiple client properties.

As the HVAC Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead a team of HVAC technicians, ensuring the efficient and safe operation of all installed systems. Your responsibilities will include scheduling and performing routine preventive maintenance, diagnosing and troubleshooting complex HVAC issues, and coordinating emergency repair services. You will also be responsible for managing spare parts inventory, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining detailed service records.

Key duties involve inspecting HVAC equipment, conducting performance tests, and implementing repairs or replacements as needed. You will train and mentor junior technicians, ensuring they adhere to best practices and company standards. The supervisor will also liaunt with building managers and clients to address concerns and provide updates on maintenance activities. Proactive identification of potential equipment failures and implementation of preventative measures are crucial aspects of this role.

The ideal candidate will have a vocational training or diploma in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC maintenance. Prior supervisory or team lead experience is essential. Strong knowledge of various HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, air handlers, and control systems, is required. Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical manuals, along with diagnostic tools and equipment, is necessary. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are vital for managing a team and interacting with clients. A commitment to safety and a strong work ethic are paramount. Certification like HVAC-R technician is a plus. This role demands a hands-on approach and the ability to make sound technical judgments in a fast-paced environment.
