Our client, a premier event management and catering services provider, is seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Head Catering Operations Manager to lead their operations in **Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, IN**. This senior leadership role is responsible for the overall strategic direction, operational excellence, and financial success of the catering division. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of large-scale event catering, menu development, food safety standards, and supply chain management, coupled with strong leadership and business acumen.
Key responsibilities include developing and executing strategic plans to drive revenue growth and market share for the catering business. You will oversee all aspects of catering operations, including kitchen management, event execution, client relations, and staff management. This includes ensuring the highest quality of food preparation, presentation, and service delivery for a diverse range of events, from intimate gatherings to large-scale corporate functions and weddings. You will manage the catering budget, control costs, optimize profitability, and ensure compliance with all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations. The Head Catering Operations Manager will lead and mentor a team of chefs, event coordinators, and service staff, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, vendors, and suppliers is essential. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Culinary Arts, or a related field. 10+ years of progressive experience in catering operations management, with a significant portion in a leadership role. Proven track record in managing large-scale catering events and P&L responsibilities. Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, menu planning, and food costing. Strong understanding of food safety regulations (HACCP, FSSAI) and best practices. Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills. Strong business development and client relationship management abilities. Proficiency in inventory management and supply chain optimization. Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
