Energy Systems Analyst

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and motivated Energy Systems Analyst to join their expanding team in **Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, IN**. This role is pivotal in evaluating, designing, and optimizing energy systems for a variety of industrial and commercial applications. You will conduct detailed analyses of energy consumption, identify opportunities for efficiency improvements, and contribute to the development of sustainable energy solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in energy engineering, data analysis, and a passion for contributing to a greener future. This is an on-site position requiring close collaboration with engineering, operations, and project management teams.

Responsibilities: Analyze energy consumption patterns and identify areas for optimization and cost reduction. Evaluate the performance of existing energy systems, including power generation, distribution, and utilization. Conduct feasibility studies and techno-economic assessments for new energy projects and technologies. Develop and implement energy efficiency strategies and action plans. Design and specify energy systems, considering factors like efficiency, reliability, and environmental impact. Prepare technical reports, proposals, and presentations detailing findings and recommendations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of energy solutions. Monitor energy market trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements. Perform energy audits and site assessments to identify potential improvements. Utilize energy modeling software and simulation tools for analysis and design. Ensure compliance with relevant energy standards, regulations, and sustainability goals. Assist in project management activities related to energy system installations and upgrades. Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams. Contribute to the development of long-term energy strategies. Maintain accurate records of energy performance data and project documentation.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in energy analysis, system design, or energy management. Strong understanding of energy principles, thermodynamics, and power systems. Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation techniques. Experience with energy modeling software (e.g., HAP, eQUEST, EnergyPlus) is a plus. Knowledge of renewable energy technologies and sustainable practices. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
