Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Legal Assistant to join our team in Flin Flon. This role is vital in supporting our legal professionals in multiple areas of law and ensuring the smooth operation of our legal services. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and proficient in legal research and drafting.

Responsibilities

• Assist lawyers with preparing legal documents and correspondence in multiple areas of law including Criminal, Wills and Estate, Commercial, and Real estate.
• Manage case files and maintain organized records.
• Proofread legal documents for accuracy.
• Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and scheduling.
• Act as a liaison between lawyers and clients, answering inquiries, and coordinating meetings.

We are looking for a candidate with the following skills:

• Excellent organizational capability and attention to detail
• Ability to adapt to new processes and to work independently as well as part of a team, following instructions with minimal supervision
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and outlook
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Knowledge of legal drafting and document preparation.

Requirements & Experience:

Legal Assistant experience or graduate from legal assistant program is preferred, but willing to train the right candidate. If you have good technical skills, are willing to learn, and have a good work ethic, this may be the job for you!
