Job Summary

We are hiring a Sr. Accountant (Income Tax) to manage taxation and accounting operations for a reputed agro-chemical manufacturing company in Raipur. The role requires strong expertise in income tax compliance, return filing, and statutory reporting, along with proficiency in Tally ERP for day-to-day accounting. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial documentation, timely tax submissions, and support audits.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations using Tally ERP software
• Ensure accurate calculation and filing of income tax returns (ITR)
• Handle TDS, advance tax, and other direct tax compliances
• Prepare and reconcile financial statements, ledgers, and MIS reports
• Maintain records for taxation, audits, and statutory compliance
• Liaise with auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities for tax matters
• Support budgeting, cost control, and financial planning activities
• Ensure accuracy, transparency, and timeliness in financial documentation

Requirements

• B.Com / M.Com / CA (Inter) qualification (mandatory)
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience with specialization in income tax
• Proficiency in Tally ERP and MS-Office (Excel, Word)
• Strong knowledge of direct tax laws, TDS, and compliance procedures
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage taxation functions in a manufacturing environment
