Role Description

We are seeking a Private Piano Teacher for a contract, mobile studio based in Arlington, VA. The role involves teaching piano lessons to students of varying skill levels, incorporating music theory, fostering enthusiasm for music, and customizing lesson plans to meet individual needs. The teacher will maintain a supportive and fun learning environment while aiding students in achieving their musical goals through structured and creative instruction.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Piano Playing and a strong foundation in Piano Education
• Knowledge and application of Music Theory and Music Education principles
• Recent experience as an educator, preferably in piano or music instruction
• Strong ability to engage and inspire students with diverse backgrounds and skill levels
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to work on-site and adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs
• Bachelor’s degree in Music, Education, or a related field is preferred but not required
