Job Description
As a Research Scientist - Knowledge Management at CreAgro, your role is crucial in contributing to the discovery and pre-development of innovative solutions in agrochemistry. Your primary responsibility includes conducting literature and patent searches, FTO analysis, and other Knowledge Management (KM) services to support project timelines and objectives. You will collaborate closely with the Group Leader - Knowledge Management to plan and propose necessary resources for project activities, contribute to generating intellectual property (IP), and ensure its protection.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Efficiently contribute to the success of CreAgro by driving innovation and team performance
- Generate and secure intellectual property for CreAgro through patent applications and portfolio management
- Promote knowledge sharing within the organization and strengthen links between KM and chemistry/biology teams
- Foster collaboration with customers and external partners
- Continuously build expertise in agro-chemistry and KM through active learning and advanced trainings
- Support the Group Leader - Knowledge Management in various tasks such as target setting and development
- *Qualification Required:**
- MSc/PhD in organic chemistry from a reputed university/institute
- Post-doctoral research experience is desirable
- >2 years of experience in new a.i. discovery or IP in pharma and/or crop protection
- Strong publication and patent record
- Expertise in organic molecule synthesis, analysis, and characterization
- Practical experience in patent analysis (FTO, novelty)
In addition to the technical requirements, you are expected to act as a committed ambassador of PI Brand, embody the values of PI Industries Ltd., and maintain a high level of morale and work ethics within the team. Your collaboration will extend to internal stakeholders such as CreAgro Knowledge Management Leadership, Chemistry & Biology Group Leaders, as well as external entities like local libraries, technology vendors, and consultants.
