Virtual Mental Health Therapist (Individual, Couples & Family Counselling)

PhysioChiroWellness Integrated Health Centre is seeking a compassionate and motivated Virtual Mental Health Therapist to join our growing multidisciplinary healthcare team.

This position is primarily focused on virtual counselling and psychotherapy services.

As demand for mental health services continues to grow, we are expanding our team to better support patients dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, chronic pain, workplace injuries, life transitions, and other mental health concerns.

• Existing patient referrals
• Reception and appointment scheduling

• Collaborative multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Ongoing operational and administrative support

Our goal is to allow practitioners to focus on patient care while we manage marketing, scheduling, administration, and patient communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual mental health assessments and counselling sessions
• Develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide evidence-informed psychotherapy and counselling services
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers when appropriate
• Follow all applicable professional, ethical, and regulatory standards
• Manage follow-up care and treatment recommendations

Qualifications

Applicants must be in good standing with one of the following:

• College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO)
• Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW)
• College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO)

Additional requirements

• Professional liability insurance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable providing virtual care
• Experience working with anxiety, depression, stress management, chronic pain, trauma, workplace injuries, grief, or related concerns is considered an asset
• Experience providing individual counselling, couples/marriage counselling, and family therapy is considered a strong asset

Compensation

Independent Contractor – Commission Split

Compensation is based on a percentage split of collected revenue.

• Marketing and patient acquisition
• Existing patient referrals
• Reception and scheduling
• Jane EMR
• Direct billing support
• Administrative services
• Optional office space

Compensation details will be discussed with qualified candidates during the interview process.

Schedule

• Flexible schedule
• Part-time or full-time opportunities available
• Approximately 5–40 hours per week
• Daytime, evening, and weekend availability welcomed
• Primarily virtual appointments
