Job Description
Petzoic Vet Hospital is a modern, progressive clinic in SW Calgary offering 24/7 urgent and primary care. As of February 28, 2026, we’re officially operating around the clock — expanding our ability to provide consistent, high-quality emergency care whenever pets need us.
We’re looking for a compassionate, capable Emergency RVT who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to grow in emergency medicine.
About the Role
As an Emergency RVT, you’ll be part of a collaborative team that supports high-acuity cases and keeps the hospital running smoothly. You’ll work closely with our DVMs, fellow RVTs, and assistants to deliver excellent patient care.
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing hands-on nursing care for emergency and urgent care patients
- Assisting with diagnostics, treatments, and monitoring of critical cases
- Supporting procedures using advanced equipment and technology
- Communicating clearly and kindly with clients
- Helping maintain a clean, safe, organized hospital
- Contributing to training and mentorship within the team
Schedule
- 4 days on / 4 days off rotation
- Includes one late-night shift rotation per month (3:00 PM – 2:00 AM)
- Designed to support work-life balance while maintaining strong emergency coverage

- CT
- Digital Thermography
- Ultrasound
- Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
