Lead - Server & Storage Infrastructure

You will be the Lead for Server and Storage Infrastructure at Petroexcel Technology Services Private Limited in Nigeria. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Architecting and deploying high-availability server and storage solutions to ensure 99.99% uptime for mission-critical business operations.
• Leading the design and implementation of comprehensive disaster recovery and business continuity plans to mitigate risks and ensure rapid data restoration.
• Managing complex SAN and NAS environments, optimizing storage tiering and capacity planning to support growing data demands.
• Overseeing the migration and integration of on-premises infrastructure with cloud environments to create a hybrid ecosystem that enhances operational flexibility.
• Directing the administration of Windows and Linux server environments, ensuring security patches, performance tuning, and configuration management meet global compliance standards.
• Mentoring technical teams and providing high-level troubleshooting for complex infrastructure bottlenecks to minimize downtime and improve system throughput.
• Evaluating emerging technologies and infrastructure trends to recommend strategic upgrades that align with the company's long-term technical roadmap.

Required Skillset:

• Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale, enterprise-level IT infrastructure, specifically within the context of server and storage virtualization.
• Advanced proficiency in configuring and maintaining SAN/NAS storage arrays and implementing robust backup and recovery strategies.
• Deep technical knowledge of Windows and Linux server operating systems, including performance optimization and security hardening.
• Proven ability to lead infrastructure projects from conception to deployment, with a focus on cloud integration and hybrid architecture.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams in a diverse, international environment.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, particularly in high-pressure scenarios involving disaster recovery and system failure mitigation.
• A minimum of 15 to 22 years of relevant professional experience in IT infrastructure management, preferably within the energy or industrial sectors.
