Python Lead / Architect

Role Overview:

You are an experienced Python Lead/Architect responsible for creating dynamic software applications for clients. Your role involves writing and testing scalable code, developing back-end components, and integrating user-facing elements in collaboration with front-end developers. Your expertise in object-relational mapping, server-side logic, and Python programming will be essential in designing highly responsive web applications to meet client needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be fully accountable for the code quality of the team, including personal review or delegation
• Write code when necessary, not limited to management tasks
• Participate in developing and promoting Python coding standards within the organization
• Take charge of delivering solutions into production and working with operations teams
• Mentor and train developers, and provide recommendations for hiring, firing, and promotions
• Collaborate with technical project management to prioritize backlog and schedule
• Make architectural decisions in consultation with engineering leadership
• Contribute to the team's efforts and achieve related results as required
• Manage budgets effectively and seek operating efficiencies

Qualifications Required:

• 4+ years of experience leading development teams
• Successful leadership in dynamic, customer-focused environments
• Experience with HTML/CSS/JS, Python programming, and serverless architecture in cloud platforms
• Proficiency in developing server-side web applications, REST APIs, and microservices
• Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, data pipelines, and Internet/web technologies
• Strong organizational skills, commitment to quality, and attention to detail
• Passion for software security, eagerness to learn new technology, and problem-solving skills
