Role Overview:

You will be responsible for overseeing the audit freight payment process and analyzing the spend to ensure the execution of the freight Audit and Validation process within the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA). Your role will involve ensuring compliance, timely payment to carriers, and pre-validation phases for all freight. Additionally, you will be expected to execute transportation analytics processes efficiently, providing insights to improve transportation processes and enhance productivity. You may also provide timely information on freight payment status and collaborate with Finance and productivity teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify transport opportunities and execute the Freight Audit and Validation processes with the BPO Team and interface areas
  • Ensure all freight is audited and validated within the agreed SLA, while maintaining compliance and ensuring effective payment to carriers
  • Receive and analyze all freight issued against PepsiCo for release and payment, with preventive analysis from the beginning of the transportation process
  • Monitor the creation of Purchase Orders (PO) for freight, ensuring no duplicate postings
  • Resolve freight pending issues with Carriers, identifying deviations and process improvements
  • Monitor the Freight Cockpit process and develop processes and manuals in the area
  • Collaborate with the Outsourcing Team in Freight Auditing and Validation
  • Interface with Financial, Controllership, and other relevant areas
  • Control KPIs and participate in internal meetings with Carriers
  • Provide leadership and guidance to extended teams to meet transport productivity objectives
  • Review and approve reports and analysis conducted by the team
  • Develop projects, dashboards, reports, or database queries for decision-making support
  • Analyze databases for accuracy in sharing information, KPIs, and cost management
  • Develop team members to use shared dashboards and reports effectively
  • Act as a focal point for Control Tower data and information, including the use of Power BI
  • Map processes, standardize and maintain SOPs and Control Tower Operational Manuals

Qualifications

  • Fluency in English
  • University degree in Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in transportation and logistics analysis
  • Experience in Freight Auditing and Validation
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with SAP and TMS
  • Desired Green Belt formation in Lean Six Sigma
  • Knowledge of data analysis tools and transportation management systems
  • Results Orientation, Decision Making, Collaboration and Influence, Communication, Innovation
  • Knowledge of data analysis tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, etc
  • Ability to work non-standard hours
