The Internal Communications team connects strategy to people—translating vision into clear, compelling narratives that drive alignment and engagement. About the Role
PayU is looking for an experienced candidate in Internal Communications to oversee and implement effective communication strategies that foster leadership communications, employee engagement, alignment with company goals, and a positive organizational culture. The ideal candidate should have 7-11 years of experience in internal communications, preferably in the technology or financial services industry, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The candidate will collaborate closely with various departments and stakeholders to develop and execute internal communication initiatives that inform, inspire, and connect with our employees.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive internal communication plans and strategies aligned with PayU's business objectives and values.
- Manage townhalls and leadership communication.
- Create engaging content for internal communication channels, including newsletters, intranet, email announcements, and presentations.
- Manage the content calendar and ensure timely delivery of internal communications materials.
- Partner with HR, Marketing, and other departments to promote company initiatives, events, and achievements internally.
- Partner with the creative designer to develop internal comms assets and collaterals
- Experience in developing internal comms IP
- Support leadership in communicating key messages, updates, and strategic priorities to employees.
- Establish and maintain communication channels to gather feedback from employees and measure the effectiveness of internal communication efforts.
- Provide guidance and support to teams on internal communication best practices and standards.
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve internal communication strategies and tactics.
- Measure communication effectiveness through data analytics, establishing meaningful metrics and providing actionable insights to continuously improve engagement strategies.

Requirements
- Exceptional written, verbal communication skills
- Bachlor’s/Master’s Degree (English Honours preferred)
- Proven track record of developing and executing internal communication strategies in a fast-paced environment.
- 7-11 years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or related roles.
- Exceptional Oratory Skills to drive townhalls and other employee engagement initiatives
- Proficiency in Viva Engage, Slack and other intranet platforms
- Basic design knowledge, Videography
- Strong project and campaign management abilities
- The candidate should also have a strong interest in learning and applying AI tools to internal communications.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity
- Flexibility to shift priorities at short notice
