Database Administrator(DBA)

As a Database Administrator (DBA) at our company, your role will involve managing, optimizing, securing, and supporting SQL Server databases across physical and virtual environments. You should possess strong technical expertise and have the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understanding the SQL database architecture.
• Knowledge of backup & recovery procedures.
• Expertise in implementing and maintaining database security measures.
• Supporting day-to-day operations and managing databases in physical and virtual environments.
• Understanding high availability and disaster recovery concepts.
• Proficiency in high availability technologies such as clustering, AlwaysOn, and Replication.
• Monitoring database performance and optimizing queries.
• Troubleshooting SQL related issues and error handling.
• Installing and migrating SQL server databases.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with indexes, index management, and statistics.

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.

Location: Pune (Dapodi)
