Job Description
About the role The Hotel Manager is the on-property leader for one of our four boutique hotels. You own the guest experience, the team, the P&L, and the reputation of the property. This is a hands-on role at small-inventory properties (typically 8–25 keys) where the manager is expected to lead from the front.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver the property's guest experience vision — from arrival ritual to check-out.
- Lead and roster the full on-property team: front office, F&B, housekeeping, kitchen, and maintenance.
- Own the monthly P&L — revenue, cost of goods, payroll, utilities, and repairs.
- Drive direct revenue through repeat guests, on-property upsells, and partnerships with local experience providers.
- Maintain brand, safety, and hygiene standards; conduct daily walk-throughs and weekly audits.
- Handle guest escalations personally and close the loop on online reviews.
- Work with Reservations and Revenue to manage inventory, promotions, and group enquiries.
- Coordinate with the Delhi office on HR, finance, marketing, and Zoho platform usage (People, Desk, CRM).
What we're looking for
- 5–10 years of hotel operations experience, with at least 2 years as an Assistant Manager, Operations Manager, or Hotel Manager.
- Boutique, resort, or luxury experience strongly preferred — standalone properties valued over large chains.
- Comfort running a small team of 15–40 people across departments.
- Strong financial literacy — able to read a P&L and take cost decisions.
- BHM or equivalent preferred; exceptional operators without a formal degree will be considered.
