Assistant Manager - Project Planning, MSDI

Position Summary

To support the successful planning, execution, and closing of projects by managing documentation, facilitating team communication, tracking schedules and ensuring project goals are met on time and within budget, while developing professional skills in project management methodologies while managing stakeholder expectations.

Responsibilities

Main Duties :

• Project Documentation: Assist in creating, maintaining and organizing comprehensive project plans, documents and reports.
• Task Coordination: Help define project tasks, create schedules, and monitor project progress.
• Communication Bridge: Serve as a point of contact for team members, stakeholders and vendors to ensure all are aligned.
• Meeting Support: Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes.
• Risk Mitigation Support: Supporting the identification of potential bottlenecks and suggesting solutions.
• Resource Tracking: Assist in managing project budgets and tracking resource allocation.
• Tool Management: Utilize project management software for tracking progress.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :

• Develop Project charter, Scope document, Team charter
• Creating and maintaining Project schedule, meeting minutes and RAID logs (Risks, Actions, Issues, and Decisions).
• Conduct daily / weekly discussion with key stakeholders on project progress, clarify requirement & communicate updates
• Highlight risks before it occurs and implement risk mitigation plan
• Share daily / weekly project status reports to functional leaders.
• Highlight any conflicts raised during team discussion

Qualifications

• BE Mech / Production Engineering degree.
• Experience 7-10 years in project planning in a manufacturing environment.
• Preliminary understanding of project planning.
• Must continuously maintain the highest degree of integrity, customer service, quality
