Job Title: Senior Ocean Freight Coordinator ? International Logistics (East Africa Operations)

Employer: LMM Enterprise Ltd. (Operating as Packaging Depot)

Job Location: Coquitlam, British Columbia

Wage: $36.60 to $40.00 hourly (to be negotiated)

Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week

  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in ocean freight forwarding or international logistics, including coordination of FCL and LCL shipments, carrier bookings, and export documentation

Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Manage end-to-end coordination of international ocean freight shipments (FCL and LCL)
  • Arrange booking of cargo with ocean carriers and monitor shipping schedules
  • Prepare and review shipping documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists
  • Liaise with overseas agents, customs brokers, and clients to ensure efficient cargo movement
  • Track shipments and proactively resolve delays, routing issues, and port congestion
  • Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and customs procedures
  • Coordinate inland transportation and final delivery arrangements
  • Maintain detailed shipment records and provide regular operational updates to clients
  • Support development and coordination of expanding international trade lanes

Employment Requirements

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in ocean freight forwarding or international logistics
  • Strong knowledge of FCL/LCL shipping processes and global trade routes
  • Experience preparing export documentation and coordinating customs clearance
  • Experience coordinating international freight operations across multiple regions
  • Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
