Oyster Kings is seeking a reliable and hardworking Oyster Farm Helper to join our team in Richibucto-Village. This is a hands-on position that involves working on the water in various weather conditions. The successful candidate must be physically fit, safety-conscious, and comfortable working on boats and around marine equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily oyster farm operations
• Lift, move, and handle oyster cages in the water and on boats
• Load and unload equipment and product from boats and vehicles
• Perform maintenance and minor repairs on farming gear, cages and bags
• Help with harvesting and transporting oysters
• Follow all company health, safety, and environmental policies
• Keep boats, gear, and work areas clean and organized
• Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Comfortable working on the water and in varying weather conditions
• Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy cages and performing repetitive tasks
• Able to work well independently and as part of a team
• Prior experience in aquaculture, fishing, farming, or outdoor labour is an asset
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the work site
• Flexible with working hours (early mornings, some weekends may be required)

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
