Role Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Operations Division as a Senior Demand Planner at the South location in Noida. You will be responsible for shaping demand and supply planning for the South Region and supporting national-level forecasting for the School Education division. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, influencing inventory strategies, and contributing to projects that enhance operational excellence. You will work on regional S&OP processes, utilize advanced forecasting models, and leverage ERP systems like SAP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain demand forecasts for the South region and oversee national-level forecasts
- Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, and develop statistical forecast models
- Conduct regional S&OP meetings and collaborate with Sales, Production, and Customer teams for accurate planning
- Provide input to supply planning for inventory norms and stock availability
- Analyze data for forecast accuracy, back-orders, and business requirements
- Ensure accurate forecasting to optimize inventory levels and reduce back-orders
- Act as the information hub for senior management enabling strategic decisions
- Drive collaboration across Sales, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing to improve service levels
Qualifications Required:
- 10-15 years of experience in demand supply planning roles
- Exposure to multi-region or Pan-India planning
- Strong analytical skills, stakeholder management, and business acumen
- Proficiency in MS Office Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP environments
- Advanced knowledge of SAP
- Experience in project-based inventory initiatives (Desirable)
