Why this role matters

Industrial decarbonization is one of the hardest problems to solve and hydrogen is at the center of it.

At Ossus, we’re building a completely new way to produce green hydrogen from wastewater, working directly with factories and infrastructure players.

But here’s the reality:

None of this works without a rock solid supply chain.

Every chemical, every component, every shipment matters. Delays - plant downtime. Bad vendors - broken systems.

This role sits right at that critical layer.

What you’ll actually do

This is not a passive procurement role.

You will own how materials move through the company.

• Build and manage our vendor ecosystem for Bio, Mechanical, and Electronics industrial lab equipment
• Find suppliers others can’t negotiate hard and close fast
• Ensure materials reach sites on time, every time
• Handle end-to-end procurement execution RFQs, POs, pricing, follow ups
• Coordinate logistics across India (plants, pilots, deployments)
• Manage imports/exports, freight forwarders, and customs documentation
• Solve problems daily missing shipments, vendor delays, quality issues
• Work closely with founders, engineers, and operations to keep everything running

Who we’re looking for

• 1 - 3 years experience in procurement/vendor management
• Strong exposure instruments and industrial materials
• Someone who can handle chaos and still deliver
• Comfortable negotiating with vendors and pushing for outcomes
• Basic understanding of logistics + import/export workflows
