  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Possess deep knowledge in Switching concepts such as STP, RSTP, MSTP, VLAN tagging, LACP, vPC/vDC, MC-LAG
  • Demonstrate deep knowledge in Routing concepts including OSPF, EIGRP, BGP
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco devices such as Nexus 9K, 7K, 5K, 2K, Cat 68xx, 65xx, 45xx, 3650, 2960x, ASR1k, ISR 29xx, 43xx and Juniper devices like Ex 2300, EX43xx/45xx, QFX 5100 MX480
  • Independently troubleshoot and analyze incidents, driving towards resolution
  • Monitor network performance and usage using network management tools
  • Document knowledge articles for critical incidents/changes
  • Engage with customers and internal staff as necessary
  • Identify problems and work towards resolution
  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in Microsoft Visio
  • Operational knowledge of Firewalls like Checkpoint/Fortinet
  • Fair understanding of other components in DataCenter Stack: Server - Blade/Rack, VMware DC Virtualization, Storage & Backup
  • Ability to work in a global multi-cultural team
  • Capacity reporting
  • *Qualifications Required:**
  • Bachelor's Degree or M.C.A
  • Cisco/Juniper Certifications (CCNA/JNCIA & CCNP/JNCIP at least Routing + Switching)
  • VMware Datacenter and Network Function Virtualization (NSX) - Desirable
