Job Overview
We are looking for a dependable and organized Yard Coordinator / Fleet Coordinator to support daily yard operations and ensure trucks, equipment, and crews are ready for scheduled jobs.
This is a hands-on, physically active role that combines coordination, yard organization, and assisting with loading/unloading. You’ll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare trucks and equipment for daily jobs
- Maintain yard organization, cleanliness, and staging
- Assist with loading and unloading of equipment and materials
- Support residential and commercial moving jobs as needed
- Monitor truck conditions and report maintenance needs
- Track equipment usage and report damages or issues
- Coordinate with drivers and management on schedules and assignments
- Follow and enforce safety procedures at all times
Qualifications
- 1–3+ years experience in warehouse, logistics, yard operations, or similar role
- Comfortable with physical work, including lifting up to 50 lbs
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Basic computer skills (WMS/TMS experience is a plus)
- Forklift certification is an advantage
- Valid driver’s license preferred
