Lead Supply Chain Engineer

Join our dynamic team as a Lead Supply Chain Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of supplier components. You will engage with cross-functional teams to enhance our product development processes, making impactful contributions from the ground up. You will be responsible for validating components and their processes, preparing them for a successful product launch, and driving significant improvements in product quality and supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive technical evaluations of supplier components in terms of material, mechanical properties, and durability.
• Analyze supplier failure rate data to assess reliability and conduct life testing to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate closely with the Supplier Quality and Test Engineering teams to establish robust qualification criteria.
• Participate in supplier audits, assessing production capabilities and adherence to quality management systems.
• Provide key insights during the New Product Introduction (NPI) process, validating components before launch.
• Engage with suppliers to align on specifications, quality expectations, and delivery schedules.
• Conduct root cause analyses for quality issues, recommending corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor quality metrics to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work collaboratively with design, operations, and procurement teams to achieve shared product development goals.
• Lead projects to improve efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining product quality.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of relevant experience in supplier quality, product engineering, or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
