Job Description
We are seeking a driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join a growing team and serve as the frontline of the sales engine. This pivotal role involves more than high-volume outreach; it requires acting as the primary point of contact for future partners and transforming cold leads into meaningful business opportunities.
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential customers to create a healthy pipeline of sales opportunities. This role focuses on outreach, lead qualification, initial discovery, and booking product demos for the Business Development team. The SDR serves as the first point of contact for prospects and plays a critical role in driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Research, identify, and target potential customers using CRM tools, databases, LinkedIn, and industry platforms.
- Execute outbound prospecting through emails and LinkedIn outreach.
- Maintain a steady flow of top-of-funnel leads to support the BD pipeline.
- Nurture leads through follow-up email sequences.
2. Demo Scheduling & Handoff
- Book product demo meetings on behalf of the BD team.
- Clearly document key qualification notes, prospect context, and expectations in the CRM.
- Ensure seamless handover to BD team members.
3. CRM & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of interactions, lead statuses, and follow up tasks in the CRM. Track and report weekly KPIs such as outreach volume, meetings booked, and lead conversion rates.
- Use data to identify trends and optimize outreach performance.
Performance Metrics (KPIs)
- Number of outbound touchpoints per day/week.
- Number of qualified meetings/demos booked.
- Lead-to-opportunity conversion rate
- Pipeline contribution and revenue impact
