You will manage property claims end to end, perform investigations and coverage analysis, create estimates, communicate with all parties, and work with internal and external partners to reach fair and timely claim outcomes.
Claims handling and investigation
- Manage property claims from first notice of loss through closure, including supplements, while keeping the process timely and accurate.
- Investigate each claim thoroughly by reviewing policy language, evaluating coverage, and determining liability.

- Prepare accurate property damage estimates using Cotality estimating software and established standards.
- Maintain complete file notes and documentation, including coverage letters, estimates, activity logs, and settlement records.
- Follow reserving best practices and update reserves appropriately throughout the claim lifecycle.

- Handle claims proactively with a strong focus on speed and quality.
- Deliver high-quality service to policyholders, claimants, and agents throughout the claims process.
- Keep insureds, claimants, agents, and leadership informed with clear, professional, and timely updates.
- Negotiate settlements with insureds, claimants, and vendors in a fair and professional manner.

Vendor and internal collaboration
- Coordinate with vendor partners such as contractors, independent adjusters, engineers, and other service providers.
- Work closely with internal teams including SIU, Subrogation, Legal, and Underwriting to support aligned claim decisions.
