Provincial Implementation & School Partnerships Lead (BC)
Open ParachuteJob Description
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and passionate educator, or someone deeply familiar with the BC education system, to lead the implementation of Open Parachute, a school-based mental health and resilience program, with the goal of creating generational change across British Columbia. The role is ideal for someone who understands both the importance of students’ well-being and the everyday realities of schools and districts.
You will act as a bridge between our organization and school communities, helping teachers, counsellors, educational assistants and administrators integrate our mental health Curriculum in a way that feels achievable, relevant and sustainable. Rather than selling a product, your role is to champion a shared goal: embedding mental health as a foundation for learning and academic success. The role will involve supporting schools that currently have access to the program, as well as those interested in piloting or purchasing it.
Travel within British Columbia is an expected part of the role during active implementation periods, with schedules planned in advance wherever possible.
Please Note:
We will not accept any application if you do not meet the following criteria:
- You live in British Columbia
- You work (or have worked) in K-12 Education in B.C
- You have experience working with school leadership implementing programs
