Registered Psychotherapist / Social Worker (EMDR) – Virtual | Ontario

Open Door Therapist is a growing virtual clinic specializing in trauma and EMDR-based therapy. We’re currently looking for EMDR-trained therapists who want to focus on meaningful clinical work while we take care of the rest.

About the Role
You’ll provide virtual therapy to individuals, couples, and/or families across Ontario, with a focus on trauma and related concerns (e.g., anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, emotional regulation).
We are especially interested in therapists who:
- Are passionate about trauma work
- Value depth-oriented, transformative therapy
- Enjoy working independently while staying connected to a team
Qualifications
- Registered with CRPO or OCSWSSW (Qualifying members welcome with external supervision)
- EMDR training (required)
- Experience working with at least one of the following:
- Adults
- Couples
- Children & adolescents
Assets (not required):
- Training in IFS, EFT, DBR, somatic approaches, or other trauma-focused modalities
- Experience with couples and/or youth (ages 6–17)
Schedule & Availability
- Minimum ~10–15 client hours per week
- Some evening or weekend availability
Compensation
- Competitive split based on experience
- Consistent referrals to support caseload growth
