Security Guard (Part Time)

Duties

• Conduct regular patrols of the facility to monitor for suspicious activity or security breaches
• Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV cameras, to oversee all areas of the property
• Enforce loss prevention policies by observing and deterring theft or vandalism
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, and coordinate with law enforcement if necessary
• Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and observations
• Control access points by verifying credentials of visitors and employees
• Report any safety hazards or security concerns to management immediately
• Assist in emergency situations by following established safety procedures and protocols

Qualifications

• Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is preferred
• Knowledge of surveillance systems and CCTV operation is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of loss prevention techniques and security best practices
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
• Good communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and accurately
• Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed
• Ability to pass background checks and any required screening processes
