Dynamic In-House Legal Counsel Role

As In-House Legal Counsel, provide essential legal guidance and risk management. Collaborate with teams across the organization to address a variety of corporate legal matters.

Reporting to the General Counsel, you will play a key role in reviewing legal agreements and advising on compliance with laws and regulations. This position allows you to tackle a spectrum of legal issues, from commercial agreements to employment law. Experience in a collaborative environment will be essential for thriving in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and negotiate commercial agreements effectively
• Provide practical guidance on existing legal agreements
• Monitor regulatory changes impacting the business
• Advise on corporate law and manage external counsel
• Oversee resolution of disputes with franchisors and suppliers

Requirements

• Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
• 2-4 years of experience in corporate/commercial law
• Strong ability to resolve complex legal issues
• Proven communication skills with diverse audiences
• Well-organized with strong attention to detail
