Job Description
Insomnia Cookies is hiring a Demand Planner, who will lead forecasting and planning processes across core items, promotions, and international geographies while supporting financial alignment and visibility. This role serves as the analytics lead for Supply Chain, connecting demand, inventory, and cost insights into effective planning and decision-making across the network. They will partner cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Procurement, Cookievation, and several external vendors to ensure plans are aligned, executable, and reviewed for accuracy. This role reports to our Director of Supply Chain and sits at our Center City Philadelphia HQ 4 days/ week.

Key Responsibilities:
Integrated Financial & Demand Planning
Own demand forecasting, supply planning inputs, and financial forecasts across product categories and geographies (UK & Canada).
Lead variance analysis for supply chain costs & inventory, while identifying risks & opportunities for efficiencies.
Inventory, Vendor & Network Performance Management
Monitor inventory levels, replenishment performance, and supplier alignment to mitigate risk, and proactively communicate any stockout / excess / variability to internal and external partners.
Evaluate 3PL network performance, identifying efficiency and cost optimization opportunities.
Partner with vendors and logistics providers on forecast alignment and capacity planning.
Strategic Initiatives & Data Enablement
Support scenario analysis to support strategic decisions (LTOs, network design, sourcing, promotions, etc.)
Help drive initiatives with financial modeling & benchmarking.
Enhance systems, reporting, dashboards, etc. to improve data accuracy, forecasting capabilities, and decision support.
Qualifications & Experience:
5+ years in FP&A, Supply Chain Finance, or Advanced Analytics with strong exposure to demand planning, inventory management, and cost modeling
Advanced Excel/modeling and data analysis (SQL/BI tools preferred), with ability to translate complex datasets into clear business insights and influence cross-functional decisions
Driven to root-cause issues and provide solutions (while aways imagining what’s possible), with deep sense of curiosity and eagerness to learn
