Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager – Outsourcing to manage end-to-end supply chain operations, including order execution, vendor management, logistics coordination, and client relationship management. The role requires strong process orientation, cross-functional coordination, and adherence to SOP-driven environments.

Key Responsibilities Order Execution & Planning

  • Coordinate with clients for product requirements and purchase orders
  • Prepare and issue work orders to manufacturing/P2P sites
  • Develop planning sheets and coordinate with internal teams for RM/PM procurement
  • Monitor production schedules, QC releases, and dispatch timelines
  • Ensure adherence to timelines for production, packaging, and delivery

Supply Chain & Logistics

  • Coordinate dispatch of raw materials (RM), packing materials (PM), and finished goods
  • Manage logistics operations between warehouse and manufacturing sites
  • Ensure timely pickup and delivery through transporters
  • Track inventory levels of APIs, excipients, and packing materials

Vendor & Outsourcing Management

  • Identify and onboard new P2P/manufacturing sites
  • Source and evaluate vendors for raw materials and packaging materials
  • Maintain vendor database and conduct site visits if required

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and manufacturing sites
  • Address post-dispatch queries related to delivery and quality
  • Ensure seamless communication across departments

Data Management & Reporting

  • Maintain updated records of clients, products, purchase orders, and agreements
  • Generate reports on order execution, inventory, and client requirements
  • Provide timely updates to senior management

Qualifications & Experience

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field
  • 4–7 years of relevant experience in outsourcing/supply chain operations
  • Experience in pharmaceutical/chemical/manufacturing industry preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems
