Full-Time Caregiver / Personal Care Aide (PCA)

PCA/Caregiver – Fredericksburg | Mon–Fri 8AM–4PM

We are looking for a reliable and compassionate caregiver to assist a male client in Fredericksburg with consistent weekday hours.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Full assistance with ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
• Transfer support (stand/pivot to wheelchair)
• Incontinence care
• Meal prep (cutting food into bite-sized pieces due to choking risk)
• Light housekeeping and laundry

Client Needs:

• Fall risk and requires hands-on support
• Right-leg amputation with right-side weakness
• Some memory issues; prefers a quiet environment

Ideal Candidate:

• Experienced with hands-on care and transfers
• Attentive, patient, and dependable

What You’ll Do

• Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and meals
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Help with light housekeeping and errands
• Follow individualized care plans
• Communicate client needs or changes to the office team

What We’re Looking For

• PCA, CNA, or caregiving experience preferred
• Compassionate, dependable, and trustworthy
• Comfortable assisting with personal care and mobility
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check
