About the job:
We are looking for an organized, excellence-oriented multitasking writer and editor who can write, conceptualize, and edit content for the technology-focused publications of a leading B2B media brand. It is essential to demonstrate experience in conceptualizing and writing original, high-quality long-form content for this role.
Your mission is to become immersed in the world of our technology-focused publications, write as an expert in the space, and connect the globes most influential business voices with our publications.
Youll be responsible for the content published on the site. Youll also get the opportunity to work on high-value content products such as podcasts and webinars.
[Note: This position mandates that there can be no use of AI tools or LLMs in any writing, editing or research for the publications.]
Key Responsibilities
- Subject Matter Expertise: Learn all about the B2B technology world, become the person who knows and researches the niches of our publications, and keep pace with all the newest developments in those areas.
- Write High-Quality Articles: Write fully original, well-researched SEO + AIO/GEO optimized articles on the most impactful topics for our publications.
- Scout for News: Identify the best piece of news to feature on your publications for the day.
- PR Communications: Communicate with public relations executives to get their clients to contribute high-impact articles, Q&As, and quote posts to our publications, ensuring a steady stream of authoritative content.
- Plan the Editorial Calendar: Plan internal and external articles, etc., in advance, so a steady stream of well-planned internal content is placed on the publications.
- Podcast and Webinar Support: Work on the podcast as well as webinars as needed, in areas such as production, hosting, moderation, subject matter expertise, planning, internal content, etc.
- Newsletter Support: Provide the content for email newsletters, based on the content published on the sites.
Location: This is an on-site, in-office position in Pune, Kharadi, WTC (Maharashtra, India)
Days of Work: Monday to Friday, 5 days a week (Saturdays & Sundays are non-working days)
Shift details: 10 am to 7 pm Monday to Friday. However, shifts are subject to change due to business requirements, such as a webinar or podcast recording.
Experience: 1 to 4 years in content writing, SEO-writing, copywriting, marketing, research, journalism, advertising, editing, or editorial, preferably in the technology, B2B technology or SaaS domains.
