We are looking for aStudent Analyst, Finance& Treasury for 8-month or 12-month term to join our growing Treasury team in Toronto. In this role, you will have the responsibility of managing the day-to-day processing of all electronic wire payments and supporting payment-related inquiries. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that all electronic payments are processed accurately and in a timely manner globally across a variety of different banking portals.
In addition to day-to-day electronic payments processing, this individual will have the opportunity to assist the Treasury team in operational cash management deliverables, process improvements and other ad-hoc projects as they arise.As a member of our Treasury team, you will be responsible for: Payments:
- Ensure timely input and accurate processing of all electronic wire payments for Oxford globally through various banking portals;
- Assist head office and regional teams on payment-related issues and inquiries;
- Banking portal and wire template maintenance;
- Preparing daily and monthly reporting of electronic payment activity;
- Assist cash team in performing ad-hoc analysis and reporting of payment information as required.
Cash Management:
- Facilitate operational and development funding requests with Oxford’s parent company;
- Assist regional and international Oxford offices with general banking inquiries;
- Supporting global transaction funding and credit facility management.
Risks, Controls& Other:
- Maintenance of the existing control and procedure documentation library, as needed;
- Ensure familiarity and compliance with all Oxford and Treasury policies;
- Supporting the team on existing projects and other ad-hoc deliverables.
To succeed in this role, you:
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business or a related discipline;
- Excel working in a fast paced, dynamic environment, have demonstrated time management and organizational skills, and an ability to prioritize responsibilities;
- High attention to detail and strong follow-up skills with an eye for continuous process improvement;
- Resourceful - Are analytical and have the ability to produce analysis with appropriate style and language to support conclusions;
- Very strong communication skills - high level of interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication;
- Embrace collaborative sharing of knowledge within a team environment;
- Are driven to achieving results and continuously striving to deliver the highest performance through critical thinking;
- Tech savvy - highly proficient with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Outlook.

The expected salary range for this position is $44,850.00 - $56,550.00 per year, prorated based on the term of the contract.
You may also be eligible to receive an annual Incentive Award pursuant to our Short-term Incentive plan and our Long-Term Incentive plan (if applicable), and to participate in our group benefits and retirement plans – details on these elements of compensation are included within OMERS& Oxford offer letters.
