NOC Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled NOC Engineer to monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot network and telephony infrastructure, including dialer systems and PBX/PABX platforms. The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of voice and data networks.

Key ResponsibilitiesNetwork Management

• Monitor LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN infrastructure
• Troubleshoot network performance and connectivity issues
• Perform network configuration, upgrades, and patching
• Ensure uptime and SLA compliance

Dialer System Management

• Configure and maintain outbound/inbound dialer systems
• Manage campaign setup, call routing, and dialer optimization
• Troubleshoot dialer-related issues (call drops, latency, CLI issues)
• Coordinate with telecom providers for PRI/SIP trunk issues

PBX / PABX Administration

• Install, configure, and maintain PBX/PABX systems
• Manage extensions, IVR flows, call queues, and routing
• Handle VoIP configurations (SIP, PRI, E1 lines)
• Monitor voice quality and resolve call quality issues

Monitoring & Incident Management

• 24/7 monitoring of network and telephony systems
• Respond to alerts and incidents within defined SLAs
• Root cause analysis and documentation
• Escalate critical issues to L2/L3 teams

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• 0–5+ years of experience in NOC or Network Engineering role
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, routing & switching
• Hands-on experience with:
• Dialer systems (predictive/progressive/manual)
• PBX/PABX systems
• SIP, PRI, VoIP technologies
• Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds, etc.)
• Good understanding of firewall and network security basics
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

• CCNA / CCNP certification
• Experience with Asterisk, Avaya, or similar PBX systems
• Knowledge of Linux server basics
• Experience in telecom environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
