Experienced Dental Front Office – Where Organization Meets Outstanding Service

We’re an upscale, privately owned, fee-for-service dental office that has been thriving for 30 years in Old Town, Alexandria, doing comprehensive dentistry. We’re looking for a Business Team Member to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes: a master of organization, a scheduling ninja, and a customer service pro whose attention to detail is everything! Schedule: Full-Time
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 6:45 AM to 4:30 PM
- Tuesday (2 shift options): 6:45 AM to 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM
- Friday (alternating): 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Compensation
- Starting at $25–$30+/hour (commensurate with experience)
What You'll Be Doing:
- Keeping schedules organized and full for doctors and hygienists
- Keeping patients happy through exceptional customer service
- Prompt management of phone calls, texts, and emails
- Using established office systems to to make consistent follow-up attempts
- Assisting with billing, financial reports, and office coordination
- Verifying insurance information and managing claims
- Assist with improving patient retention and satisfaction
- Oversee patient check-in/check-out
- Maintain an organized and welcoming front desk

What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years of administrative experience (prior dental office experience required)
- Exceptional organization and time management skills
- A friendly, professional personality with top-notch written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask without breaking a sweat
- Must be proficient in written and spoken English
- High school diploma required (college education in business or healthcare is a plus)
- Comfortable with computer skills and managing various software
- Familiarity with dental office procedures and insurance policies
- Ideal but not required: Dentrix experience
