This is an opportunity to do career-defining work. We're all in on this mission. If you are too, let's talk.

The Auth0 Team

We never compromise on identity. You should never compromise yours either. We want you to bring your whole self to Auth0. If you're passionate, practice radical transparency to build trust and respect, and thrive when you're collaborating, experimenting and learning – this may be your ideal work environment. We are looking for team members that want to help us build upon what we have accomplished so far and make it better every day. N+1 > N.

Here at Auth0 we’re focused on securing the world’s identities so innovators can innovate. We’re currently hiring a Senior Software Engineer for the Identity Security Insights team. The Insights team is responsible for modernizing the way Auth0 empowers our customers to seamlessly access and understand their Auth0 data and level up how they monitor and address security concerns.

What you will do:

  • Help design secure, performant, cross-platform browser-based features.
  • Collaborate inside your team to solve technical and non-technical challenges.
  • Work closely with Product and Design to determine and optimize user experience.
  • Build new and maintain existing features by contributing across the full technical stack.
  • Debug and resolve production issues and implement fixes for them.
  • Be a part of the team's on-call rotations.
  • Evaluate new technologies and techniques to improve overall practices.

You are a good fit for this role if you:

  • Have a passion for learning.
  • Like owning, designing, and driving projects end to end.
  • Enjoy greenfield development and iterating on existing features.
  • Are comfortable writing and operating full-stack applications.
  • Are familiar with Node.js and RESTful APIs.
  • Have a good understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Have the ability to contribute in a team environment.
  • Work well with technical and non-technical people to deliver high-value results.
  • Have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Enjoy being part of a highly collaborative, remote-friendly environment.
  • Have at least 5 years of software development experience.
  • Familiarity with AI agent frameworks, orchestration tools, or the Model Context Protocol (MCP).

It is helpful, but not required, if you:

  • Have experience working in distributed teams and work environments.
  • Have experience working with React and Styled Components.
  • Have experience working with data driven applications.
  • Exposure to agentic application patterns: tool use, multi-step workflows, agent-to-agent communication.
