The Role

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to play a critical role in strengthening and scaling Oceanus global production operations.

This is a senior, hands-on position suited to someone who can take full ownership of production — from factory management and sampling through to bulk delivery and quality control. You will be instrumental in bringing structure, accountability, and consistency across our international supply chain, while ensuring production aligns closely with both wholesale commitments and DTC demand.

Working closely with leadership, you will act as a key bridge between Oceanus and our global factory base, ensuring that product is delivered on time, at the right quality level, and in line with commercial priorities.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Leadership & Planning

• Own and manage the end-to-end production lifecycle across multiple collections
• Implement and drive structured production tracking tools to ensure full visibility across timelines, risks, and delivery
• Align production planning with wholesale order deadlines and DTC launch calendars
• Proactively identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to keep production on track

Factory Management & International Coordination

• Act as the primary point of contact for international factories and suppliers
• Build strong, accountable relationships while ensuring adherence to deadlines, quality standards, and agreed terms
• Lead and support factory negotiations alongside senior leadership
• Manage day-to-day communication across multiple time zones

Quality Control & Production Standards

• Oversee and elevate QC processes across all stages of production
• Ensure consistency between approved samples and bulk production
• Identify and resolve quality issues early, working directly with factories on corrective actions

Sampling, Fit & Development

• Lead the sampling process from development through to final approval
• Oversee fit sessions and ensure clear, structured feedback is implemented accurately
• Maintain alignment between design intent and production execution

Wholesale & DTC Alignment

• Ensure production supports wholesale delivery windows and partner requirements
• Work closely with internal teams to prioritise production based on sales demand, replenishment needs, and launch schedules
• Support inventory planning and allocation across wholesale and DTC channels
• Help manage reorders, restocks, and continuity styles to maximise revenue opportunities

Operational Structure & Process Improvement

• Bring structure and best practices into production workflows
• Improve systems, reporting, and communication across teams and suppliers
• Maintain accurate product documentation and production records

Team Leadership & Support

• Support onboarding and management of junior production team members as the function grows
• Act as a key operational pillar within the business, contributing to long-term production strategy

Who We're Looking For

• Proven experience in a Production Manager or Senior Production role within fashion
• Strong track record managing international factories and suppliers
• Deep understanding of garment construction, sampling, and bulk production
• Experience working with wholesale and/or DTC production planning
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and commercially aware
• Confident decision-maker with a solutions-driven mindset
• Comfortable working remotely across time zones and independently driving outcomes

Highly Desirable

• Experience in swimwear or luxury fashion
• Strong network or experience within Southeast Asian manufacturing
• Experience scaling production operations within a growing brand
