Schedule The successful candidate will need to be available to work 12-hour shifts, days, nights, weekday, weekends and statutory holidays. Patient care Using your clinical expertise, in collaboration with the interprofessional team, you will be responsible for comprehensive assessment, care planning, patient education and discharge planning to support the continuity of care throughout the patients stay on AAU, an acute inpatient medical department. You will play a critical role in the coordination and development of interprofessional plans of care, which reflect patient needs. 48_Quality Assurance Created with Sketch. Quality assurance In addition, you will utilize your demonstrated clinical leadership skills, well-developed analytical, problem solving, delegation and interpersonal skills to assist you in the provision of quality patient care. Requirements 48_Success Created with Sketch. Qualifications Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses. Current BCLS certification. Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in acute medicine. AAU experience preferred. Coronary Care 1 experience preferred. Certificate in oncology and/or gerontology would be an asset.
