Role Overview:
In this role, you will troubleshoot complex and escalated network issues, participate in major incident management conference calls and associated bridge-lines, work on tickets escalated from Tier 2 Support, and work on incidents in accordance with Integrated Operations Manage Incident Process configuring network devices. You will also work with advanced technology functions like Cisco TAC, serve as a subject matter expert for the entire network infrastructure of the bank supporting technologies such as routing, switching, F5, firewalls, and proxies. Additionally, you will mentor and train Tier-1 and Tier-2 support, open change controls and emergency break-fix change records, engage with Cisco support, work on Sniffer/Infinistream capture, troubleshoot issues related to firewalls, load balancers, and proxy appliances, work with vendors and vendor escalations on complex issues, and functionally align with the manager.
Qualification Required:
- Must have banking experience.
- 6+ years of network support experience in NOC Operations or similar environment.
- Excellent understanding of routing and switching concepts such as RIP, OSPF, and BGP.
- Ability to quickly analyze and troubleshoot data and voice network outages, resolve large admin/enterprise issues for the bank.
- Extensive hands-on experience in Cisco routers, switches, wireless devices, Cisco/Checkpoint firewalls, F5 load balancers, IP subnetting, Layer 2-4 stack understanding, VoIP, QoS, MPLS, SDWAN.
- Experience on Arista hardware is a plus.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ansible knowledge is a plus.
- Mandatory CCNA certification and at least one CCNP level test completed. Additional certifications in CCNA specialties, F5, and MCSE are required. Role Overview:
